CWCMS Volleyball - Carmi vs Olney and 8th Grade NightPhotos from the Middle School Volleyball game, Carmi vs Olney and 8th grade night, have been uploaded.
I tried a different format this time in that I’ve uploaded all the photos into one gallery as before but I separated the C-game, 7th grade-game, 8th grade-game and 8th grade night into separate collections. I was lucky this time to get a few “compression” shots during these games.

(Feedback is greatly appreciated!) Carmi White County Middle School Volleyball - Carmi vs Flora 02-28-13Some friends asked me if I’d take some photos at a Middle School volleyball game. I found it to be challenging, especially since I don’t know anything about volleyball. lol The lighting in the gym at the Middle School made it challenging too but overall I think I got some decent shots. I believe that is the first volleyball game that I’ve went to and I must say the Carmi Middle School girls seemed pretty tough as I watched the game through my lens. I’m planning on going to the next game for “8th grade” night…looking forward to that!

Took some photos at this year's Cheer for a Cure, well several actually. This was the most photos that I have taken at one event. I had a lot of fun watching all of the different teams, one team drove three hours to get here, compete but the greatest thing was all the money that these young ladies raised for Cheer for a Cure! For those who don’t know Cheer for a Cure is a nationwide event to help raise awareness and money for cancer research. There was several thousand dollars raised for this event. If anyone has the exact amount please mention it in a comment here.
